Overview

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1292, by Së̋ch Jóō 'Tiffany Blacksey' Vúń̄w̄ Ra̋chīs Ya̋mp̪f̄y Réń Yākīó̄. The establishment of Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw's construction back out of the project. Së̋ch Jóō 'Tiffany Blacksey' Vúń̄w̄ Ra̋chīs Ya̋mp̪f̄y Réń Yākīó̄ pushed on reguardles, and Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of narrow cobblestone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Cultural Notes

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.

The Church Grim near Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Conjuration energies of tier 2 via chanting.

The conflict ended after roughly 49, when members of Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw's militia enacted an operation to patrol a specific area to dissuade the enemy from their current activities. The operation was complicated by the army's activities draw the wrath of formerly neutral parties. The war is remembered in legend by Tḩǖ Mó̄sy Nêōw's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
